The Nilcau sailed for Wellington at loon, carrying passengers and mails. Regarding the other boats in port, the Anchor Company is not taking action, pending dozelopments in Wellington. The perishable fruit aboard tho Waiinea from tho Tofua is still untouched. A little humour was imparted into tho situation his morning. Tlio Anchor Company sent its compliments to tlio and invited them to a motor picnic m the country, Tlio watersides, while appreciating the invitation, .declined to accept it unless tho men were taken "in watches." This caused a deadlock, and it is reported that both sides aro "standing firm." Tlio point is that several of the Anchor Company's steamers, with undischarged inward cargo, aro algngpido the sAmt ' 4
