SAFELY ASHORE IN LYTTELTQN. (By Telcffrapll.—Frees Association.) Chrlstchurch, November 3. _ Applicants at tho Employers' Association havo been informed to-dav that all free labour likely to bo required is availablo. Tho list of special constables is also full, though no enrolment undertaken. Tho officers of the association explain that they will take no aggressive action, especially as very littlo work is waiting at Lyttclton. An unusually largo amount of passengers and luggago was landed from the Maori yesterday without protest from tho pickots. It is understood tho "luggago" included tho scenery of tho Goneo Company, which was removed from tho battens and packed in bags and hampers. <
