FARMER'S OUTPUT.
ACCUMULATING IN 'AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Auckland, November 3. Tlio stoppage °f the coastal truda
seems likely to seriously affect farmorß north, of Auckland. A telegram was received in- town from tho Hokianga creamery stating that thoy will havo to shut down, as it is no uso making butter if it cannot bo sent to town. This will also apply to creamorics in othor parts of the country whoro communication is not secured by railway. Butter is, of course, accumulating at the freezing works, but, as long as the fuel holds out, /it will not bo injured by a week or two's delay. "I havo 300 cases of buttor from tho East Coast in tho harbour, which is spoiling because wo are not allowed to land it," stated an Auckland agent to a representative of the Auckland "Star" tcwlay. He added: "If only the boat was in the stream I would send out ice, but that cannot bo done when she is alongsido the wharf." "I havo como to town," said a resident from Hobsonvillo, "to seo if any arrangement can be made to land our 'cream. Wo are not going to send it down by launch, and thon have it emptied into the harbour."
