At an inquest regarding tho death of Mr. Lambert, a director of the Talbot Company, who was killed while breaking an automobile record in ono of the ocmpany's cars, thero woro pathetic scenes. A brother of- deceased broke down while giving evidence. Ho Baid that Lambert was a total abstainer and nonsmoker, and had always trained for his races. Ho was to have been married in a fortnight. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
