Dillon Wallace, the well-known author and explorer', has returned his Arctic expedition though he was believed to bo dead. Ho went north through Labrador in order to place a tablet on the spot whero his companion in a former trip died of starvation. He lost the tablet en route, but he chisselled in the rooks the words: "Leonidas Hubbard, intrepid explorer and practical Christian. Died October 1903.'
