American tourists will kindly note their defects and reform! The city of Detroit has made a great feature of its management of its parks. There are in the parks regularly appointed attendants to look after tho babies; ewflngs, merry-go-rounds, sand boxes, and wading pools for the youngsters; numerous refreshment places, at which no intoxicating drinks are sold; orchestra, and commodious steamers from the city to tho parks, tho fare on which is only a nickel.
