THE MOUNTED CHARGE;

CASUALTY LIST. Sergeant O'Halligan, who wbb in charge, received injury to his right arm. A- piece of iron struck Ins elbow, and a lump of coal landed with forco on his shoulder. Mr. S. George Nathan, a special mounted constable, was in the charge, but his horse slipped on the tram-rails and rolled over on him. When ho was picked up it was found that ho had .sustained a broken collar-bono. Two of_ tho permanent men also fell, but neither sustained injury. Constable Draws Firearm. I Several strikers received blows from t-lia mounted men's batons, as they rushed ac full gallop through tho crowd. Many of the onlookers received kicks from the horses. The polico state that one man named Jones received very serious injuries through' being tramped 011 -by a horse. Several of the mounted constables received minor injuries during tho riot on Waterloo Quay yesterday morning, but nothing of a serious nature. Constable Fallen, who was defending the entrance leading into tho Post and Telegraph Stores yard, received a nasty cut 011 his head, and had to go off duty.
