The re-trial of Harry Edward Hoyling (formorly a Government interpre* ter), and Hey Wun, and Hoy Poo, on a chargo of conspiring to introduce Ghilioso into Australia, has concluded. The .Crown alleged that tho accused had conspired with others in Hongkong to procure tho admission of Chinese, by' furnishing. them tvith naturalisation papers, and also that they had issu'M to. other Chinese special instruction books and plans of Melbourne, prepared for intending immigrants to be coached in matters upon which thoy were likely to bo examined on arrival. Hov Wun and Hoy Poo were both found guilty and sentenced to twelve months' in gaol. The jury disagreed ,in. the case of Hoyling, who was remanded.
