Tho deportation of strikers' children to England lias been abandoned, though tho shipping offices and railway stations are still picketed by tho Ancicnt Order of Hibernians and clergy. 1 LARKIN'S SUPPORTERS HECKLE A MINISTER, (Rec. October 80, 11.15 p.m.) London, Ootober 80. Organised opposition on' the part of i supporters of Larkin (the Dublin strike leader, who has bcon imprisoned for making seditious speeches), prevented Mr. Sydney Buxton (President of the Board of Trado) from addressing his constituents at Poplar. Mr. Buxton's appeal for free speech met with the-re-tort: — " Why should wo give you free speech while Larkin, is in prison " And cries of: "Why don't you arrest Carson I Yon bludgeoned women I Give Carson a taste of forcible feeding!" MINERS' WAGES REDUCED. London, October 29. Lord Balfour of Burleigh, as arbitrator, has reduced the Scottish miners' wages from 7s. 6d. to 7s. 3d. daily.
