Two of the conference of the Board of Directors of the Peninsula and Oriental Steam Navigation Company and tho officers' representatives have been hold. Tho chairman and tho secretary of the Merchant Service Guild were tho spokesmen, for tiho oflfcors. All outstanding difficulties were satisfactorily settled. Tho officers' resignations were withdrawn. The settlement affects 460 officers.
