RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. A meeting of tlio Executive Committee of the Wellington Rifle Association Has held in the Drill Hall last evening. Mr. H. T. Marshall was re-elccted chairman ot the executive. It was decided to offer an attractive programme to competitors at their meeting which will bo held at Trentham on December 20 and 27, The programme also provides special matches for cadets. Donations <to the funds are coming in freely, and everything pointe to a successful nwetihg. Major Matheson was re-elected chief range officer. . Mrs. Hagen has been entrusted with the catering. It was deckled to start an art union in conjunction with tho meeting. _ Tho Suburbs Defence Rifle Club will continue their trophy shooting on Saturday afternoon at Broadway .range, Miramar. Tho second match in the first series will be completed on Saturday at ranges 500 and 600 yards. A special prize of a lamb has been presented to the club for competition by. tho Kosher Butchery.
