BRIBERY CHARGES AGAINST KRUPP'S. COMPROMISING LETTERS; By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Berlin, October 23. During tho hearing of charges _ of bribery against' Brandt and Eccius, directors of Erupp's—in order to obtain military information in regard to tenders for War Olfico contracts—a sensational feature was tho testimony of Von Metzen, formerly Krupp's representative at Berlin (who is. himself prosecuting Krupp's for dismissing him), asserting that lie fiossessed correspondence from Kmpp's directors showing that many of the latter wCro aware of tho system of obtaining confidential information. Counsel for tho prosecution and the defence alike vehemently protested against tho production in the middle of tho caso of document,? that had been withheld at tho preliminary proceedings, but. tho Court ordered their production. • Meantimo the Court has adjourned.
