Tho Ocean Steam Navigation Company's White Star steamer Teutonic; 9984 tons gross, Ims been docked at Liverpool. Sho reports that tho lookouts, when the steamer was 172 miles east of Belle Isle, sighted a huge iceberg during a fog. The helm was ported, and the iiegmes reversed. Tho vessel passed tho iceberg at a fow yards distance. (Rcc. October 29, 0.45 a.m.) London, October 28. The iceberg was almost on top of the Teutonic when first sighted. It towered above the boat-decks, and passed closo to tho stern- ns tho Vessel sheered off in the nick of time.
