George Jackson as tutor in Pastoral Theology 'at Didsbury College. With a view to counteracting Mr. Jnckson's doctrines, a Wesley Biblo Union has been formed. Sir William 'Smith, president of tho union, has issued a statement declaring that terrible teachings such as that the Bible was a legend, a myth, and 1 a fable wus 0110 of tho main causes of the decrease in tho membership of all the Churches. "If we are to have a revival of religion, the Church must be rid of such doctrines."
