LYALL BAY CLUB. Tho first competition for the Stansell Feathers was played oil Monday, when the holders, C. J. Ashtoii and T. K. Burgess defeated A. C. Blako and A. Itaven 21—13. A progressive pairs competition was also held, tlio winners being Skips W. H. Morrah lends A. W. Jloran and A. W. C. Brailst'ord a tie. PETONE CLUB. The following will represent Petone against Klmndallali on. Saturday for senior, pennants:— Home: Jones, T. M'Arthur, Beynon, Coles (skip); Cowie, Castle, Hay, Stephens (skip). Away: M'Ewen, Wcaroe, Fowler, Melhuish (skip); P. M'Arthur, Br. Wyhe (skip). A pairs progressive tournament was held on Labour Day. Result: Firth winning for skips and Dixon the leads —five games- each.
