Bjr Tolccraph—Prora Association—Oopxrieht (Rec. October 26, C.G p.m.) London, Octobor 25. Owing to a thick fog which prevailed, tho mid-K6nt train dashed into a local which was standing at .Waterloo Station.

Threo carriages of tho local train were smashed, three peoplo being killed and nineteen injured. Most of the passengers on tho local train, had alighted. One of tho telescoped carriages was lifted from its bogies, and the seats driven through tho glass roof of tho station. A man and his wife, with thoir littlo girl were in olio compartment of tho wrecked carriage. Tho mother was instantly killed, and tho man's chest badly crushed, but tho little girl was rescued. A working man was killed, and his daughter beside him was injured. There was a grim and pathetic scene as tho fog waß lifting, revealing men with piokaxes and crowbars extricating the moaning victims. Many wore crushed by tho seats, and several had both legs broken.
