FOR ENTOMBED MEN IN NEW SIEXICAN MINE. By Itelceraph—Presa Association—Copyright Dawson (N. Mexioo), October 23. Fourteen dead bodies have been. recovered from the Stag Canon Aline, which was wrecked bv an explosion, and twenty-flvo have been rescued alive. The fate of tho others has not yet been ascertained. The men are mostly Italians. The lesouers managed to penetrato to the lower levels, but were unable to reach tho lost men, gas filling; tho tunnels. Settlers and ranchers from outlying districts and helping in the rescue work. Two hundred and fifty o.f the miners aro still missing. (Rec. October 24. 10.80 p.m.) New York, October 24.
