AISGILL DISASTER.
DRIVER CAUDLE'S SENTENCE. By Telegraph—Projß Ausoolatlon—Oopyrfyht London, Ootober 23. It Is stated that there is increasing indignation on the part of tho Carlisle railwaymeni over tho ' sentence of two months' imprisonment which was passed upon Caudle, the driver of the Aisglll express that was the causo of tho recent disaster. It is also stated that a national strike is widely favoured. A petition for his release is boing signed, and Mr. Reginald M'Kenna, Home Secretary,, will bo approached on the subject.
