Tho New York State Grand Jury returned an indictment in order to enable Mr. Jerome to havo Thaw extradited. Tho New Hampshire* Grand Jury at Mattoawan failed to retnrn an indictment; hence Mr. Jerome's appeal to the Now York jury.
