Two Holstein cows- in particular 011 Mr. A. J. Gallichan's stud farm at ''Lakeside," Palraersfcon North, are reported to he doing particularly well this season under Government semi-official tosts. Holland Queen, a fivo-ypar-old ?o\v on Octobcr 12 reached- 96.81b. 111 tlio twenty-four hours, and Diamond, a rour-year-old, gave 74.21b. —a total of 1711b'., averaging 85|lb. between them. Mr. Gallicha.n. 5 s is to endeavour to nut up as larrte a record as possible ivith thes-o cows in the season, and not to got as much as can he cut of them in' a, day. Holland Queen is not being insii-ed now. and is going at a 901b. a lay clip. Visitors are welcome to-see lie "Lakeside" Holsteins milked any lay. •
