TRIAL OP FRANCIS SHACKLETON. By TelesraDh—ProßS ARsoelntion- Ooovriirht London, October 20, ' The trial of Francis Shackleton (a brother of Sir Ernest Shackloton, and formerly of the Dublin Cnstlo staff) and Thomas Garlick (an accountant) on a charge of conspiring to defraud Miss Josophino Browne of the sum of £12,000, has begun. In her evidence, Miss Browne admitted that sho had had affection for Shackleton liko that of a mother.
