Present indications are for strone westerly winds, squally at times in and southward of Oook Strait, fair to cloudy weather in tho north, and unsettled conditions, with rain, probable southward of Now Plymouth and Castlenoint. Tlie barometer ig unsteady, with a falline tendency, esnecially In the south. Increasing westerly winds have prevailed, ealea being reported this afternoon at Farewell Spit and New Plymouth.'
