(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FOUND DROWNED IN A CREEK. Christchurch, October 19. Tho body of a maij was found on Saturday afternoon in tho creek in South Park. The creek lias high,-steep banks, but holds only two feet of water. A post mortem showed that the body was that of a strong man, about 55 years of age, and tho condition of things pointed to death by drowning. At t'no inquest before Mr. Bishop, S.M. (District Coroner), Sergeant A. S. Bird identified the body,as that of William Walker, shearer, formerly residing at Culveraon, ■ and a man of particularly steady haoits.
