The following is tho weekly report of . the mine superintendent of the Itoss Reconstructed Goldfields:—Jliue, sixth lovel branch: This drive has been turned in tho direction of tho Horning Star ■ workings, and has beefl driven 12 feet. To roach tho Morning Star shaft a distance of 601) feet will require to be driven. This drive will command the ground on the north side of Cassias' most easterly workings, as well as tliat in and arouud the Morning Star. Main level: Opening sets are being placcd in position in-No. 2 riso for the purpose of opening 15. and W. drives on the wash which was met in rising this shoot 3 feet above the back laths of the sixth level. Cassius workings: East drive haa been driven 30 foet for tho week in wash of low Quality; it is beinj extended to ascertain if wash of better duality exists further cast on the north side of Casslun workings. West drive has been extended 20 feet, and becamo too poor, and this party are now engaged repairing tho north and eoutli main drive in Oassius workings, in order that drives may be opened on tho couth limits of these workings, where by dfeh prospect-ins, wash has been found valued at 3 grains to tho dieh. Sinco tho water lias been taken out of Oavsius, the 1 N. and. S. drive has fallen into disrepair, and . will require renewing the timber for a distance of 110' feet. This work will bo completed within three weeks. As reported by wire, the -eluico boxes were cleaned up for a Toturn'of 30oz. 12?r.; lOoz. from 363 trucks of wash taken from Cassius working.l, and the balance from development work,
