GENERAL COMMITTEE. About thirty members were present it a general meeting of tho committeo af tho Wairarapa and East . Coast P. md A. Societj- on Friday afternoon, Mr. E.' Eagle presiding. It was announced that the fifteen pinea cup presented by Mr. K. Cooper 'or the milking classes had como to land. / . Sixteen . new members were elected, making sixty new members for the current year. It was resolved to add a class for jolo ponies to the show schedulo, tho prizes to bo £3, £2, and £1, provided iufiicieijt entries were received. It was nentioned that about sixteen members possessed polo ponies.. 'Tho committee decided to meet" on Saturday next to put the show ground ( n order.
