SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Pre son t indications cure for cloudy and ■unsettled weather, with rain generally. Btrong north-westerly vrinds, ohanging to Eioutherließ. The barometer is likely to fall lower in most parts of the oountry befpre a decided xifio, which is due after about 30 hours, takes place. High and squally westerly wtada have prevailed, and considerable rain fell during Thursday night; muoh fog hae been reported. The barometer has risen, slightly to-day in the flouth, but fallen correspondingly in the north, thus decreasing the gradient. High temperatures have been reported along the Eastern Ooast. D. 0.
