SIEVIER'S LIBEL ACTION.
"WINNINQ POST" ARTICLES DISCUSSED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrisht London, October 16. The libel case Robert Sievier v. Percy Bono, a solicitor, and Thomas Dey, a bookmaker, for circulating a typewritten sheet allegihg that Siovcr had blackmailed Dey for £1000 in connection with, an advertisement _ published in Sievier's paper the "Winning . Post," was continued. _ ' Dey gave evidence that Sievier had showed him tho proof of an article intended for tho "Winning Post." It was of a disgusting naturo, disclosing Dey's past life. After he had received seven hundred pounds.Sievier (who denies tho statement about tho money) published instoad a complimentary editorial. ; During Dey's cross-examination ~a specimen bag containing seven hundred sovereigns was exhibited. , It weighed fifteen pounds.
