San Francisco, October 16. The New Zealandors showed some of their real work in their first game on the turf. The Stamford University team was hopelessly outclassed, and •beaton by 54 points to nil. Tho visitors handled tho ball almost faultlessly, and only on ono occasion was their dcfence grossed, Stamford forcing tho New Zealanders for tho first time in tho tour. Tries woto scored by Mnckwizie and Lynch (threo eachV M'Donakl (two), Bruce, "Wylie, Downing, Mitcliinson, M'Gregor, and Taylor one each. Roberts converted 'four, and Mitchinson dropped a goal.
