ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
BODY IN HARBOUR. , (By Tdesrapli.—Press Association.) , Auckland, October 16. The body of a man about 65 years o{ age and of medium stature was found floating in tho harbour this morning. The body was full.y clothed, but no papers wore found likely to give a clue to deceased's identity. ' , , Lator. The body found in the harbour to-day has been identified as that of John Chapman, a gardener, and 54 years of ago. It is stated that he has been in ill-health for some time back. CHILD & POISONOUS TABLETS.' jnveroarglll, October 16. , At Inveroargill an Wednesday a two-year-old son of John' Grice, carpenter, died through eating tablets containing .poison. . The child, aided by a chairf, olirabed on tho cupboard, and got possession of ths box. Death took place a few hours afterwards.
