REV. DR. DILL MACICY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, October 15. The death has taken place of tho Rev. Dr. Dill Macky, tlio prominent Presbyterian clergyman. i Tho William Marcus Dill Macky, D.D., somo timo president of tho Australian Defenco Association, was ordained in 187G at Draperstown, County Derry, where ho remained ten years! After arrival in Australia ho was settled first at Woolloomooloo, and then at Scots Church, Sydney, of which ho has been minister sinco 18S5. For Eoveral yoats ho was lecturer in Systematic Theology in tlio New South Wales Theological Hull. Ho was Moderator of tho Presbyterian Church of New South Wales in 1901, when he received the degree of D.Dr from the Presbyterian Theological Faculty of Ireland. Dr. Macky founded the Protestant Deieuce Association, and was Cfraud Chaplain of the Loyal Orange Institution for several years.
