Swinburne, tho English engineer who has been appointed to inquire into tho working of tho Australian wireless telegraph system, says that there is every reason to believe that in the not-distant futuro cable telegraphy will bo superseded by wirol(fes.
Mr. Swinburne recently completed investigations on behalf of the British Government regarding the advisability of establishing an All-Red wireless lino, with which a start will bo made shortly.
