The "Daily Mail" states that informal negotiations ore proceeding between tho Government and tho English Unionist leaders with regard to tho Ulster question. , An attempt is also being mado to induce Mr. Redmond (the Nationalist to moderate his views. • It is expected that Mr. Churchill (First Lord- of tho Admiralty) will announce tho Government's policy at Manchester on Saturday. "Times" —Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. (Rec. October 15, 8 p.m.) London, October 15. Tho Nationalists in mid-Ireland are organising a body of drilled men to check the Ulstermon should the latter evince a desiro to como south of tho Boyne when Homo Rule is established. Workmen of all classes are participating in tho movement. A regiment of cavalry is also being organised.
