NEXT YEAR'S TERMS
'A meeting of the Victoria College Council was held last night, Mr. H. H. Ostler presiding.- Those present were Sir Robort Stout; C.J., Mr. M'Allum, Mr. Ferguson, Mr. C. Watson, Mr. C, Wilson. Mr. A. R. Atkinson, Mr. J. G. W. Ailkeii, Dr. Knight, and Mr. W. 11. Morton, the last-named having been appointed by the -Government ill placa of Mr. Hogg, resigned, and being welcomed by tlio chairman on'his first appearance. ' • - It was decided that the terms next year should be altered somewhat so as to suit the conveuienco of tlio professors who aro attending tho British Association Conference in Sydney. Thoro will bo tlirco tonus next year instead ol two. It was mentioned that Professor Laby was point; Homo on tlio loag vacation^
