MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Mr. W. G. Hiddell, S.M., presided over yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. Harry John Joseph Lysaglit was fined 20s. for a breach of bis prohibition order. Charges of insobriety and with being
an idle and disorderly person wore preferred against Alfred Goo. 'J'attlc. On the first oount ho was convicted and discharged, and on tho second he was sentenced to ono month's imprisonment. For committing a certain act, Mary Joyce was sentenced to ono month's imprisonment. For using objcotionablo language, Esther Collier was fined £3, in default 14 days' imprisonment. Rosio AYi Kateno was granted a separation order against her husband, Wm. Wi Katene, on the ground of failure to maintain. Tho defendant was ordered to pay 17s. Gd. per week towards tho 6upporb of his wife, and child.
