CLYDESDALE HORSE SOCIETY.
At/ tho last mooting of tho council of.the Clydesdale Horse Society of Now Zealand the following societies wero affiliated: —Edondale Horse Breeders' Association, Incorporated, Marlborough A. and P. Association, North Otago A. and P. Association, Waikouaiti A. and P. Association.
"It was stated in the "last report that, an application for affiliation had b'eeii received from tho Ashburton A. and P. Association. This was not correct, the authority was a report published in a Christchuroli.paper dated August 27. The resolution of the Ashburton A: and P. Association to affiliate has since that date been rescinded. Tho application by Mr. John Boag, senr., for prefix ' " Middlerig," was granted. -It was agreed to lea7e tho selection of photographs of stallions and mares to bo reproduced in Volume 1. to the Editing Committee. Tho feo for each reproduction to bo 0110 guinea. 'A' letter from tho Minister of Agriculture relating to freight charges on stud stock/was received. ' It was agreed to dispatch a cablegram to the Australian Clydesdale breeders assembled in Melbourne, wishing ;them complete success in their endeavour to form a Clydesdale Horse Society in Australia. •
