Efforts havo been resumed to raise the employers' fifty million pounds combine, which is cxpected to bo an accomplished fact within a week. There has been a hugo influx to trades union ranks, tho result being that tho constituencies arc flooded with propagandists. It is estimated that during tho past eighteen months tho membership has increased by a million.
