Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Pcilding Ealo on October 10, wo had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold freely, but the cattle market was a trifle easier. Ewes and-lambs, 16s. to 20s. 3d.; hoggtes, 13s. 2d., "13s. 4d., 16a. Id., to 16s. Cd.; forward wethers, 175.; cull hoggets, 7s. Cattle: Yearling steers, £3 Os. 6d.; store cows, £3 ss. to"£3 175.; fat cows, £5 to £6 65.; empty heifers, £3 10s. to £3 12a. 6d.
•Mr. - Kewton 'King's weekly .stock report contains the following:—At my Kahotu ■yards, on Tuesday, October 7, for my spring cattle fair, 1 hod a good yarding of about 850 head of mixed cattle. There was a representative attendance of buyers, and th.B entry being mostly good saleable cattle in,fair condition, a very Eatisfactory solo resulted." On account of the executors of Mr. It.
