PERTH WIFE-MURDERER.

Perth, October 11. Walter Surrard has been sentenced to death for the murder of his wifo in August last. On the occasion of the crime, Surrard was talking to his wifo in Claremont Park, when ho suddenly pulled out a razor, cut her throat fatally and his own severely. He declared that he had got tho razor by chance. Whilo entering tho park he was pleading with his wifo to return, but sho refused and admitted that she had been cariying on with another man. He then went mad and did not know what had happened.
