Owing to the Palmerston North A. and P. Association's summer show falling on tho date ilxod for Messrs. Dalgoty and Co.'s next sale, it has been decided to hold the next wool, sltin, hide, etc., ealo on Wednesday, November 12.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—Wo neld our monthly salo at Palmoreton North on Friday, and offered a good catalogue to a fair attendanos of buyers. Our offering comprised '60 bales and bags of wool, 1900 sheepskins, 2260 calfskins, 320 largo hides, 100 tins and two casks of tallow, and tho usual quantitles of boreeliair, cowta'ls, etc. . Bidding throughout was very animated, and wo sold all our entry, with tho exception of tlvree lots of wool and three lots of calfskins, under tho hammer. Tho passed-in lots havo sinco been sold at prices which will bo satisfactory to vendors.
