Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Palmerston on Thursday a smaJl entry of stock was disposed of as under:—Sheep: Light fat ewes, 19s. Id. to 20s. Cattle: Yearling eteers, £2 43. 6d. to £2 18s.; empty heifers, £3 45.; storo cows, £2 19s. to £3 165.; springing heifers, £5 Its.: springing cows, £8 2s. 6d.; young bulls. £3 70. 6d.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday wo offered'a fair yarding of cattle, but only a few pens of sipop came forward. Salea were effected at the following quota■tions:—Ewes with lambs, 19s. lid. and £1 3s. lid,*; forward cows, £4 12s. to £5; store cows. £2 10s. to £3 10s.; yearlings, £1 10s. to £2 2s. 6d.; Bprjnging cows, £4 6s. to £5.
