In connection with tho so-called ritual -trial at Kieff of a Jewish youth named Yushchinsky on a charge of murder alleged to have been committed in April, ,11)12, seven hundred rabbis in all countries have forwardod to the Judge a sivorn declaration denying that any Jewish sect udes blood for religious purposes, and that, moreover, 'l'orah (the Pentateuch) and Cabala (philosophy of tho Hebrew religion) forbid its use. The medical experts hold that the death, which, presumably, waa very slow, had been caused by tho knife wounds, and that the marks of strangulation, were mado subsequently and for the purpose of throwing tho police off the scent. For more than a year the police have been at work studying the question, and moving heaven and earth to eluoidato the mystery. Excitement bordered "on passion.
