The programme of the Dominion R.iflo Association's annual ohampioneiiip mooting, to be held at Trentham In Maroh next, has been drawn up and submitted to tho Defence authorities for their approval. It will probably be distributed by tho end of tho month. A correspondent of tho To Kuiti paper states that each season boob more Taraliaki people settling in that part of tho country as their southern leases ran out. They havo watched the advances mado in Taranaki values, and have come back to the King Country feeling that they have only to wait a few years when increased values will mean big monoy to them for their new properties. Bad ronds and othor drawbacks do not deter them. 1 They possess indomitable pluok, and are just tho settlers to help further progress.
