following membors attended a committee meeting of tho District Nursing Guild of Si. John held at tho residence of Mrs. Sefton Mooi-house, on Tuesday afternoon: —Mesdames Bnloombo Brown, Moorhouse,, Corrigan, Fisher (lion, secretary), Miss Robieson, and Nurse Jlacandrow wero present. In the absence of Mrs. Rhodes (president), Mrs. Moorhouse was'voted to tho chair. Apologies were also received from Mesdames Tripe and Gyles, who were unable to a ttend. Tho senior district nurse submitted tlie September report. Tho total number of patients treated was 34, and '408 visits woro paid. Nurso Walton, who somo four months ago was appointed to work with Nurse Macandrew (senior district nurse) among the sick poor of the district, has fully justified the selection which tho committee mado on account of the excellent certificates obtained in a London Hospital, and everyone interested is to bo congratulated on having Nurses Macandrew and Walton to carry on tho work: Tho committee acknowledge a subscription of £2 from Mrs. E. Balcombe Brown, and comforts, eto., from Mesdames Freeth, Moorhouse, and Kent, Misses Harding, Beckwell, Robieson, Downard, Friend, Anonymous, Gear Company, and "Sayes Court."
