ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF MANAGEMENT. Mr. J. B. Paton presided over tlie weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association last evening. A letter was received from Mr. B. L. Salmon, stating, that there is every prospect of a warehousemen's association being formed in Wellington > next season. Mr. B. L. Salmon tendered his resignation as a member of the committee.— It was resolved that Mr. Salmon be asked to reconsider his decision, tho more especially in view of the fact that the 1913 season is about to closo. As tho Marist Club has won the Fifth Division Cup outright, Mr. B. L. Salmon has offered to donate a cup to replace this trophy, provided that the Marist Club do not rcstoro it to the association. It was decided to hold a smoke concert on Wednesday> October 2, at which trophies won during tho season will bo presented. Now rules and new fitandiug-ordors were considered, and will come up for confirmation at a special general meek ing which is to bo held shortly.
