BOYS' INSTITUTE BAZAAR.
Nearly seventy members of tho General Committeo of the Boys' Institure bazaar mot in tbo Town Hall last evening, when, from tho nature of tho reports presented, it appears that good progress is being made with "this scheme. Arrangements were made for a flower-making party at tho institute buildings, Arthur Street, to-day, to provide tho garlands to decorate tho hall. Tho following nro to be asked to'open the bazaar 011 the various days: October 2S, Her Exccllency the Countess of Liverpool; October 29, Mrs. W. P. Massey; October 30, Mrs. J. P. Luke ; October 31, Mrs. S. A. Rhodes; November 1, Airs. H. D. Bell. Tho city bands will provide music 011 each night of tho bazaar, and offers have been reecived for orchestral music also. All excellent sot of side-shows is to be on hand, and a programme will bo submitted each evening, including tableaux by pageant groups, and displays by dancing classes and cadets. Many entries aro being received for the competitions. Further information concerning this and other matters can be had from tho secretary, Mr. Bennett, Foathcrston Street.
