John Searle was ordered to pay George Winder 13s. lOd. by October 21, and to pay Mitchinson Bros. 15s. 6d. by the same dat 6; and F. Walsh was ordered to pay H. Gotlieb £2 13s. by October 21. BOOKKEEPERS' ACCOUNT. Judgment was delivered by Dr. M'Artnur, S.M., in the case of William Whitehead v. George Bradley, a olaim for £34 4s.- for book-keeping, etc. His Worship said that the question was one of fact, and that he would allow the plaintiff £19 4s. 6d. POLICE BUSINESS. MOTORING ROUND CORNERS. Decision was delivered by Sir. W. G. Riddell, S.M., in the case in which the police proceeded against Arthur Withy on a charge of his having kept to the wrong side of the road when rounding a corner. Withy drives Dr. T. Cabill's motor-car. His Worship said that technically defendant may have broken the by-laws, but that when there was no traffic in the street the rules of the road might be relaxed. The circumstances in this case did not warrant conviction. INSOBRIETY. John William Lucas was fined £1 for insobriety.
