A strugglo was waged, tho militants shouting wildly about justice for wo- . men. After some moments detectives ran up and seized tho women, though tlioy had somo difficulty in pulling them away. They wore taken to tho club house 1 and subsequently to Elgin Policc Sta- • tion. A largo crowd which bad assembled hissed them and threatened tc ' duck tliem in the sea.
