TRAGEDY IN PERTH.
MURDER AND ATTEMPTED SUIOIDE. By GnelfiGfra.pl!—Press / nrorintion—O&pjrijjhi Perth, october 6. 'A tragedy has 1 occurred at. North Danranup, 124 miles south of Perth. A Mrs. Molyneaux, during the absence of her husband, was paid attentions to by a man named Odgers. Subsequently the Molyneauxs removed to another district. Odgers, learning of their borrowed a T r \ and ammunition and visited Molyneaux' s house. Ho demanded to see the wife, but the husband warned her to escape. -Then, after a struggle with Odgers for the rifle, the husband himself fled with his two children. Odgpis fired two shots at them without doing any harm. • i j, After several shots had been heard. Molvneaux and a neighbour returned to. the 'house and found Mrs.' Molyneaux shot dead. ' .. ; Odgers ha-d disappeared 1 , but was discovered a mile from the scene of the tragedy, shot through the mouth, his jaw being fractured. He had apparently attempted to take his .own We. Ho was removed to the hospital. His injuries are not serious.
