Luke) to mombers of the Finance Committee of the City Council shows that there has been paid out of tho district fund during recent years no loss a sum than £83,116 for tho following works Now recreation grounds, Duppa Streot, Anderson Park, aud Kelburno Park, £5150; new destructor (erection), £4549; additions 'to library and museum, £7277; infectious diseoses liosr pital, £5487; land Lyall Bay, £9593; formation grounds Lyall Bay and Kelburno, £72D0; Willis Street widening, £20,152; electric lighting deposit (£25,000, less £15,000 paid), £10,000; outlaying districts drainage, £7622 • total, £83,115.
