GOOD ATTENDANCE.
MR. MACDONALD'S RECORD. A record of consistent attendance was claimed by Mr. W. D. S- Mac Donald, M.P., in tho House of Representatives yesterday. Ho said that he had never been absont from tho House for an hour while it was sitting during the present session, and that during the last five years he had beon absent_ for a few days which he spent in hospital. Sir. Macdonald stated, also, that during the last five years ho had never Blept in tho Chamber. ,• Dr. Pomaro: Bccauso you could not, not becauso you would not. Mr. Macdonald: I know it is your greatest activity in life. Dr. Pomaro: I do more asleep than you do awake.
